Mary Cohen is the founder and currently sole person behind Cream Cheese Alchemy. Born in 1980, she took up drawing when action figures were out of sight and the result is a blending of styles and themes that appear in her art and stories. She holds two degrees from California Institute of the Arts, a BFA and MFA, both in Experimental Animation. She lives in Los Angeles with her parents, youngest sister and her dog, Fluffy. She currently works in a variety of media, some less traditional than others, but all with her own unique style and in a room she is eager to show you all very soon. Last year, her painting "It Became French Property" was exhibited at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery in Hollywood. It has since been displayed with more of her work in Pacific Palisades YogaWorks.
Also, she braves Los Angeles without a car. It can be done.
